Brand Identity - Core

Purpose

This page serves as LinkLive’s living brand reference for use with AI tools, including Claude. When generating any brand asset — social media posts, PowerPoint slides, brochures, user guides, or other marketing and sales collateral — team members should direct Claude to read this page before beginning. The guidelines here define how LinkLive looks, feels, and communicates, and are intended to ensure that AI-generated assets are consistent, on-brand, and ready for use with minimal revision. This document is maintained by the design team and updated to reflect the current brand at least once per fiscal year. Check the “Last Updated” date at the top of each section to confirm you are working from the most recent version.

BRAND COLOR HEX CODES AND HIERARCHY

When a color is mentioned, please always use the hex code it is assigned, which can be found listed throughout this section.

Primary Colors:

We use a specific teal and blue in a handful of tints to represent our brand’s personality. Primarily, these two colors are combined in a linear gradient, with the same tint throughout (e.g., medium teal pairs with medium blue). When using the gradient as a background block, it should go from left to right if the block is wider than it is tall, and from top to bottom if the block is taller than it is wide. Never use colors from different tints in the same gradient (e.g., teal should NOT be paired with medium dark blue). We do not use different tints of the same color for gradients (e.g., blue should not be paired with medium blue). These tints can also be used as solid colors.

Blue Tints:

05275B Medium dark blue

02112F Dark blue

Application: Use for large background blocks, banners, and primary brand assets. Darker backgrounds are preferred, unless designing an asset for print.

Secondary/Supporting Colors:

These colors are often used in graphics and as supporting text on dark backgrounds. They can also be placed on a freeform gradient for background blocks and other accents (all four colors must be present: Light blue, light teal, yellow, and neon green). If the gradient is ever too bright, place a black layer on top with a transparency of 45%.

Neutral Colors:

Black is an additional option for background color blocking and is our primary text color on light backgrounds. White and light blue are commonly used on dark backgrounds. White and grays should be used for anything that would be printed which includes collateral for events and board powerpoint slides. These neutral colors can also be used for elements like thin lines and in tables to help guide the eye.

CTA Colors and Rules:

CTAs are usually depicted as rectangular buttons with no rounded corners, or in teal + underlined text after a paragraph when a button would be excessive. Yellow buttons are commonly used when directing to demos or for event CTAs. Neon green is for special use cases and should only be used in 5% of any composition. A stroke (5pt wide) in a gradient consisting of yellow, light blue, light teal, and neon green, is used when directing to more LinkLive content (a webpage, educational collateral, resources, etc.).

LOGO USAGE RULES

Minimum size:

In digital assets, the smallest the logo should be is 100 px wide and 15 px high. The general percentage the logo can be at its smallest differs between asset type, here are some examples:

Standard social media graphics: 10%

Standard letter-size brochures: 2%

1920×1080 PowerPoint slides: 3-4%

Clear space:

The logo should have plenty of clear space. The minimum amount is equal to the height of the logo applied on all slides, but more is preferred.

Approved backgrounds:

The white logo is commonly placed on the gradient backgrounds from the Primary Colors section above.

Unless explicitly asked, do not place the logo on a background color that is not part of the approved brand colors.

When it is being used in a footer – for PowerPoint slides for example – you may place the logo on top of a colored or black and white image. Use black if the image is lighter and white if the image is darker depending on where the logo placement is.

Logo Rules:

IMPORTANT: When adding our LinkLive logo, ALWAYS use the SVG markdown code listed above to generate it on any asset. Never generate an alternative version of our Logo.
Do not warp, skew, rotate, or distort the logo in any way.
Do not change the layout or stack logo elements.
Do not alter the typeface.
Do not change the colors of the typeface or icon.
Do not use the logo as a mask.
Do not place elements on top of the logo

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY TYPEFACES

Poppins is our main typeface. We use Semibold for headers and subheads, and Light for body copy. For tertiary headers that sit above a main header, use all-caps with slighter wider tracking in Semibold and make it a smaller size than the subhead.
